About Us

For some time we contemplated opening a gift shop offering something different, a great selection of unique gift ideas supported by great customer service.

While on one of our many visits to Bali we came across a hotel with the name ‘Tamukami’ (meaning, ‘our guest’). We fell in love with the name and in July 2004 established a company and opened a gift shop in the Swan Valley, Western Australia and named the shop ‘Tamukami’.

With our shop being open for over 3 years and receiving very positive feedback from our customers over that time, we decided to have a website for online shopping.

In our travels overseas to different countries, we have collected a unique range of giftware, sterling silver and gold jewellery. A lot of the items we buy are one of pieces to provide a greater selection to our customers. As we import most of the stock on our website ourselves we are able to offer very competitive prices to our customers.

For Perth customers if there is an item on our website that you would like to view just contact us by email or phone and we can arrange for you to view the item.

By prior arrangement purchases can be collected from our warehouse to save you postage and insurance.
